Starting Our Projects!

It has been a very exciting week in our classroom!  For the past month our class has been busy learning about the different animal groups. Everyone has learned a lot!  Last week Miss Stephanson sent a letter home explaining our project.  This week we have been collecting materials so we can begin to make our animal projects on Tuesday.  Today we made our animal plan for our project.  First we chose what animal or animals we are going to create.  Then we had to decide what animal group it belonged to.  After we drew what we wanted our animal to look like.  Finally we labeled our drawing saying what materials we are going to use to create our animal.

Some students finished their animal plan early and were able to begin blogging about their projects.  Tomorrow the rest of the students are going to have time to blog about their project.  Please have a look at everyone`s individual blog pages!!
