Our teacher’s name is Mrs. Kyle and this is her seventh year teaching at our school.  In our school many of our classrooms have a theme or a class name. We are the 2K Secret Agent classroom because we enjoy exploring new topics, asking new questions, and finding out the answers to our questions.  Thanks for stopping by to check out our class blog!  We would love to connect with you and hear about your school, province, state, or country.

Hello back to my Secret Agent Friends! Wow…you are learning lots. Now, I know!… a snowflake is a solid. Thank you for sharing your knowledge. Learning never ends – it lasts your entire lifetime!:) I also love hearing traditional stories especially about Mother Earth and by an Elder! Elders are honoured and very respectable storytellers. They are wise, kind and caring people who know all about their traditions and culture. Do you remember last year reading the legends about the dream catcher and the big dipper? These are my favorites and I like collecting dream catchers especially when they are made with natural materials and given to me by the first nations people! Traditions are very important to people, families and cultures. A Canadian tradition in my family, when my children were younger, was to always have a bedtime story by either myself or my husband. My youngest son would always request “a story by your mouth”! (Too funny)I can’t wait to keep the tradition going when I get to be a grandmother and tell bedtime stories. What is a Canadian tradition that you have as a person, or a family or a culture? Can’t wait to hear all about your traditions. Take care my Secret Agent Friends…and until we blog again! 🙂
