The Science Experiment-Rainbow

“Yesterday we did a science experiment.” (Secret Agent #8).  “We poured water into a little cup.” (secret Agent #12).  “We put blue food colouring in the water and we used corn syrup.  We put red food colour in the corn syrup.” (Secret Agent #1).  “We used food oil and we poured it into a little cup.” (Secret Agent #13).  We put rubbing alcohol into a little cup.” (Secret Agent #10).  “We took green food colouring and we put it into the rubbing alcohol.” (Secret Agent #17.)  “Then we put the water, rubbing alcohol, corn syrup, and oil into the jar.” (Secret Agent #4).  “The rubbing alcohol, water, corn syrup, and oil turned into a rainbow.” (Secret Agent #9).  “The didn’t mix.  They all floated on each other.” (Secret Agent #18).   “They didn’t mix because corn syrup is the heaviest.” (Secret Agent #17).  “The corn syrup is heavy because it is sticky.” (Secret Agent #3).  “The corn syrup is thick.” (Secret Agent #12).  “The rubbing alcohol wasn’t thick and the water wasn’t thick.” (Secret Agent #18).

Science Experiment

Yesterday we made Jello!

“We read the instructions on the side.” (Secret Agent #8).

“First we poured two cups of water into a pot and we put the pot on the stove.” (Secret Agent #2).

“Miss Stephanson turned on the heat.” (Secret Agent #13).

“Then we poured the Jello powder into a cup.” (Secret Agent #18).

“After we watched the water boil.” (Secret Agent #1).

“We watched the steam rise.” (Secret Agent #12).

“When steam cools down it turns into liquid.” (Secret Agent #6).

“Steam is a gas.” (Secret Agent #3).

“Next we mixed the water and the powder together.” (Secret agent #10).

“The water turned red.” (Secret Agent 7).

“We poured the Jello into cups.” (Secret Agent #18).

“We put the Jello cups into the fridge.” (Secret Agent #8).

“The next day we ate the Jello.” (Secret Agent #2).

“The water and the Jello mixed together and got cold.  It turned into a solid.” (Secret Agent #13).

“The Jello was very yummy!” (Secret Agent #2).

“We put the Jello in the fridge.” (Secret Agent #16).

“The liquid turned into a solid!” (Everyone).

Happy One Hundred Day!

Today was the 100th day of school!! We did a lot of fun activities today.  Check out our blog tomorrow to see what we did to celebrate 100 days of school!
